2023 Topps Series 1

Set Information:
2023 Topps Series 1, as usual, features a 330-card base set including modern day stars, fresh rookies who debuted during the 2022 season, league leaders, and team cards. Topps is staying true to the every 20 year pattern when it comes to the card design by placing two player photos on the front of the card. One is an in action shot while the other is a close up photo of the players mug.
The parallels are pretty standard from previous years, with the addition of something new. All 330 cards also have a tough to find Golden Mirror Image Variation Short Print. These have a different photo as well as a golden back. Should prove to be a fun chase for diehard collectors. The set also has some brand new insets for those that enjoy some flashy variation.
To continue on with the 35th anniversary celebrations, collectors will find inserts of player cards sporting the infamous, and somewhat ugly, 1988 card design.
